We started MyGardenGuide.net in the summer of 2010 with the goal of providing great home and garden tips for both beginner and expert gardeners. We have quickly become a very popular resource among garden enthusiasts, and we strive to reach as many people as we can. There are 3 of us who are behind the content on our site:
Sarah has been an avid gardener for over 10 years, and is the brains behind MyGardenGuide.net. She graduated from Alcorn State University with a degree in Plant and Soil Science, so naturally has a lot to offer readers. Her writing has been featured in various online and print publications, and still continues to contribute as much as possible. When she's not in the garden, you can usually find Sarah spending time with her dog, Spartacus or working part time as a landscape designer.
After working in the food industry for years, Jessica realized how harmful our agricultural methods have become today. Her goal is to make the world a greener place, and grows healthy, natural, organic food for local markets and restaurants. She is also contributes her technical abilities to running the website.
Dave basically knows everything there is to know about gardens, landscaping, agriculture, etc. He currently runs a landscaping company as well as a local food market, and has spent considerable time working on a farm growing up. He also has an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Science from UC Davis, as well as a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture at BSU. Despite being a business owner and contributing to MyGardenGuide.net, Dave still has ample time to spend with his wife and kids.
